Thursday 13: Counting My Blessings

Thirteen Things I'm Thankful For Today
  1. I'm thankful that Dorothy's family got their house!
  2. ...and that I don't have to go through that stress right now.
  3. I'm thankful for the rain we got this week
  4. ...and for the sunshine that keeps me sane.
  5. I'm thankful for my piano
  6. ...and for the sweet friend who brought me a copy of the sheet music I'd been wanting.
  7. I'm thankful for that sweet friend, who also left food and other goodies on our porch, almost anonymously.
  8. I'm thankful for my wonderful husband, who will keep me alive even if it means standing between me and chocolate.
  9. I'm thankful for chocolate. Nyeah.
  10. I'm thankful for my two beautiful, smart, sweet pirate-Jedi boys
  11. ...and I'm thankful that their big brother is coming home next week. They're so excited they're bouncing off walls!
  12. I'm thankful that, although we don't technically have any income, the money keeps arriving from somewhere.
  13. In fact, I'm deeply grateful for the overwhelming number of blessings that fill my life, and I'm grateful to know where they come from.

What are you thankful for?

I'm thankful for a lot of things too.
Today part of what I'm thankful for is the wonderful vacation I was on last week, which is what I blogged about on my TT.

I'm thankful for my children. My youngest, who is now 23, used to take "piano" lessons. I'd be more thankful had she continued because she was gifted at a young age.
My "wonderful husband" and I allowed her to quit (I'm sure you've heard versions of this story before) too soon.
And speaking of "chocolate", I'm addicted too. We visited the Hershey factory and was surprised by the genius of the man who started the company. We got a lot of chocolate to eat too! I was thankful for that.

I'm thankful for so many things also, and I loved reading your list. However, I was a little dismayed to hear that your husband might sometime stand between you and your chocolate. That's just wrong. Wrong. hehehe :)

Have a great day, mine is up too!
