Oh Yeah

Forgot to mention: Easter weekend, second week of April, right? And it's snowing. Again.

It did this the first year we were in this state, too, but not since then, I think. Can it really have been 8 whole years? Yep, almost to the day. I've never lived anywhere else for 8 consecutive years. I'm not sure we intended to be here that long, but here we still are, and here we'll stay until the Evil One's grip is loosed from us. (Maybe another 6 years.)

Sigh. Hey, maybe I'll luck out and die first. Whew!

Yeah, it was interesting trying to go to Church in our nice spring Easter dresses this morning...luckily the snow had melted off the street by the time service was out.

So where would you go?

That will probably depend now on where The Man can get a good job once he graduates. A couple of years ago, we wanted to move to Salt Lake City so he could finish his degree at the University of Utah, but the Evil One foiled us then. At this point, we really can't afford to move anywhere, but we have faith that that'll change, eventually.

Goodness, why is it still snowing in Spring? Maybe Mother Nature's calendar is behind schedule?

Every so often, it does this. Maybe it's that global warming stuff. Or El Nino. Or... maybe it's just the way things go around here.

We had snow for our Easter, too. One of the speakers during Sacrament Meeting said that he was glad, because they hadn't dyed their eggs yet and so the snow would make it easier to hide them...

Happy Easter (belated) to you, too!
