Thirteen Places I Hurt- My right heel. I've had plantar fasciitis for about 5 years now.
- My right ankle. I sprained it badly when I was 13 and it still hurts on rainy days.
- My right knee. I wrecked it 3 times in the early/mid 90's. Now it goes "snap, crackle, pop!" whenever I climb stairs.
- My right elbow. I have had tendonitis on and off for the past 10 years.
- My right wrist. Carpal tunnel syndrome was diagnosed earlier this year.
- Both feet and ankles, which swell up painfully when I don't get enough rest. (This, as you may guess, is all the time.)
- The center of my back. I have a bulging disc there for no good reason.
- My lower lumbar area. I have a painfully swollen disc there which has been bothering me for more than 2 years and pressing on...
- My sciatic nerve, which was nicked during epidural administration for delivering Punkin Boy. This radiates pain...
- Out through my left hip and down my leg to varying degrees. Today, the pain is trying to escape out my toes.
- The base of my neck, where the stress gathers.
- My head, especially this hormonal time of month, when the migraines come.
- My stomach, which feels like throwing up from the pain, but usually can't.

This followed by 13 "Medications" including chocolate-induced coma, calgon therapy, punkin kisses, pirate hugs, and man baking.
I prescribe chocolate and lots of crappy TV :)
My wonder drug is the beach...c'mon..
Happy TT..mine is up!
All that pain would drive me to eat chocolate, or bitch, whine and moan. Although, throwing a fit outside of Mrs Fields Cookies, because you want control over the bag of chocolate chip cookies, always works for me!
Hope you feel better!
Thanks for stopping by my TT!
Owwy. You need some "Do-Daids". Great list. Hope you feel better soon. -Mix
Ouch! Perhaps some serious retail therapy would ease things a little :)
Hope you had a great (and less painful) TT

I was watching a horticulture segment on the news and they showed a plant in a shoe and said it was "plantar fasciitis." I laughed, but having had personal (my husband) experience, I know it isn't funny.
My TT is up.
Ugh, I am so sorry.
Between my migraines and fibro there are days that this is all I want to write about (because it's all that I can think about.) I hear ya, sister.
I went back and read your post about your back. It's surreal how quickly things can change.
I hope that there is some way for you to find relief. I will keep you in my thoughts.
Heh, thanks all. I appreciate all the suggestions and good wishes. I was feeling really rotten today (didn't mention the miserable rotten cramps because that's only a temporary thing), and couldn't think of anything but the pain. Thanks for your indulgence.
Wendy: Chocolate, definitely. In mass quantities.
Chana: That is my wonder drug, too, and I haven't been there in way too many years. Just give me directions, though, and I'm there.
Elle: I wish! I got my last unemployment check today, and it's not going to last long. Someday, though.
Norma: Ha! That's awesome. Laughter is the best medicine. Thanks.
Oh sweety. Lots of hugs coming your way.
Thanks for stopping by.
Oy, well, whenever you can in the future, if you need a Florida beach vacation (it would be educational, really, with Nasa in the neighborhood and all that....), you got a place to crash at the Villa O, scheduled to open 28 July!!
Take care of yourself and if you need another 10 lb medicinal chocolate dose, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
