Holy cow. Not only have I been madly cleaning and (when it's not raining) painting the house, but now I'm packing frantically. A week from today, I'll be heading west with my children to our new home in time for them to start school. Meanwhile, I've got a lot to do.
Once this is all over, I'll probably check into a hospital for the pain I'm inflicting on my back. Don't have time now, though. Life is nothing if not interesting.

wait a minute! I don't remember you telling us that you were moving.
I hope that all goes well with that.
owie for your back...right now my back is in pain too...I pulled something when putting away my camping gear. :(
That's one of the tender mercies of operating on sheer adrenaline during times of great turmoil. It's the superman effect. Try to control the comedown by planning things to do once you arrive in the valley. Make some appointments on purpose, even if it is just to get your hair done. Something each day to get out of the house. From experience, resting longer than 24 hrs. makes it harder to get back up.
Hugs to you during this difficult time for your whole family.
Oh no! I am so sorry to hear this.
Please call when you get the chance, collect is fine, and 4am is ok, too.
(I know the Magnificent Snooze will come out triumphant, but am still hoping and wishing for the best for you...)
Whoa, you're moving? Is everything OK? You are in my thoughts.

You're right; this was the official (quick) announcement.

Yes and no.
Sylvia and Kory: I will.
All of you: Thanks for your support, and I'll explain later.
Hey Scone!!! When you get where you're going, drop me a line and I'll give you a call. Have a safe trip and god bless. Hope to hear from you soon!! Take care.
